In Spring of 2003 Rolf Michael Gerner founded GVG Corporate Finance Advisors.
From 2001 until 2002 he was Co-Head Investment Banking Germany at Lehman Brothers in Frankfurt. Prior to that he was Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), starting and building up their activities in Germany out of Frankfurt.
From 1994 until 1999 he worked in Corporate Finance at Morgan Stanley, and was responsible for Automotive/Capital Goods.
Rolf Michael Gerner started his career in 1986 with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in Frankfurt and London, first in Equity Research and from 1990 onwards in the M&A department.
Rolf Michael Gerner holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Frankfurt University. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1962. He is married and father of three children.
