Volker Werner is Partner at GVG Corporate Finance Advisors, since 2003.
Mr. Werner started his career in 1997 in the M&A department of the investment bank NM Rothschild & Sons with focus on the automotive and capital goods sector.
In 2000 he changed to the Frankfurt office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). After the merger of DLJ and Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in November 2000 the entire Frankfurt team of DLJ joined Lehman Brothers, where Mr. Werner was primarily active in the Frankfurt and London offices.
Mr. Werner graduated in Finance at Goethe University in Frankfurt.
From 1991 to 1993 made an apprenticeship with DG Bank in Frankfurt and is a certified banker. After his apprenticeship he worked in the Frankfurt, New York and Hong Kong office of DG Bank.
He was born in 1972, is married and father of two children.
